Fireworks from the Heart (2010)

Fireworks from the Heart is a Japanese movie directed by Masahiro Kunimoto. It was released by Go! Cinema in Japan on September 11, 2010.

Set in Niigata, the film stars Kengo Kora as a hikikomori who wants to take his leukemia-stricken sister (Mitsuki Tanimura) to the annual Katakai Festival to launch fireworks, believing that it will somehow have a healing effect.
