Flowers (2010)

Flowers is a Japanese movie directed by Norihiro Koizumi. It was released by Toho in Japan on June 12, 2010.

Reuniting the six female stars of Shiseido’s popular TSUBAKI commercials, the film consists of six separate stories spanning 3 generations. Yu Aoi plays a young woman in the 1930s who is unhappy with an upcoming arranged marriage.

She gives birth to three daughters later on in her life which are eventually played by Yuko Takeuchi, Lena Tanaka, and Yukie Nakama.  The third generation are the two daughters of Nakama’s character, and are played by Kyoka Suzuki and Ryoko Hirosue.
