KITARO (2007)

KITARO is a Japanese movie directed by Katsuhide Motoki and based on a manga by Shigeru Mizuki. It was released by Shochiku in Japan on April 28, 2007.

Eiji Wentz stars as a half-human, half-yokai named Kitaro who lives in a tree house with other yokai (monsters). When a series of events leads to his friend Kento coming into possession of a powerful glowing stone that belongs to the Fox spirits, he and his yokai friends must keep the stone out of the wrong hands to save the human race from destruction.
