Jun Murakami is a Japanese actor. He was born on July 23, 1973 in Tokyo.
Initially a promising young actor, his career hit a lull as he battled severe alcoholism and was involved in a public divorce with singer UA, whom he had been married to from 1996-2006. In 2007, he was hospitalized for liver problems brought on by his drinking. Once released, he claimed that he was ready to make a comeback. He has appeared in several films since.
