Junji Ito

Junji Ito (伊藤潤二 / ITO Junji) is a Japanese mangaka who specializes in horror stories. He was born on July 31, 1963 in Gifu Prefecture.

Several of Ito’s more notable works have been adapted to live-action films, including Tomie, Uzumaki, and Kakashi.
