Kaiji 2 (2011)

Kaiji 2 is a Japanese movie directed by Toya Sato and based on a manga by Nobuyuki Fukumoto, who also helped adapt the screenplay. It is the followup to 2009’s Kaiji and was released by Toho in Japan on November 5, 2011.

The second film covers the third chapter, “Swamp of Desire”, from the original manga.

Kaiji (Tatsuya Fujiwara) once again gets himself into debt and decides to take on a pachinko machine called the “swamp” which has an enormous potential payout of over one billion yen.

Unfortunately for Kaiji, the machine is operated by an unscrupulous man named Ichijo (Yusuke Iseya) who has complete control of its payout.
