Keralino Sandorovich

Keralino Sandorovich, aka KERA, is Japanese playwright, actor, musician, and director. He was born Kazumi Kobayashi (小林一三 / KOBAYASHI Kazumi) on January 3, 1963 in Tokyo. He is married to actress Tamaki Ogawa.

Sandorovich formed and sang lead vocals for the band “Uchoten” and was a central figure in the Indy music wave. He is a member of the Nylon 100°C, a theater troupe he helped establish in 1993. He is a graduate of Yokohama Movie and Broadcasting College (later renamed Japan Academy of Moving Images). As a writer and director he is best known for his nonsense comedies, having been inspired by the British comedy troupe Monty Python.
