The Negotiator: The Movie (2010)

The Negotiator: The Movie is a theatrical continuation of the TV Asahi drama “Koshonin - The Negotiator”. It was directed by Hidekazu Matsuda and released by Toei in Japan on February 11, 2010.

The action begins when criminals steal 260 million yen and take hostages. In a strange twist, one of the criminals runs away following an explosion without taking any of the cash.

Reiko Usagi (Ryoko Yonekura) later boards an airplane after recognizing a young passenger named Kimoto (Kento Hayashi) as one of the hostages. Later, she happens to be on board when the plane is hijacked and gets involved in a game of wits with the hijackers as she tries to figure out their motives while protecting innocent passengers.
