Leona Hirota

Leona Hirota is a Japanese actress and television personality. She was born Kumi Hirota (広田久美) on March 7, 1963 in Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture. Actor Koichi Sato’s wife is her cousin.

Hirota married actor Mitsuru Fukikoshi on December 24, 1994. They had one child before divorcing on December 12, 2005. On October 26, 2008, Hirota announced their reconciliation on her Fuji TV show “Appare!! Sanma-shin Kyoju”.

She once confessed that her trademark mole is simply makeup. She also claimed that as a child she would use glue on her eyelids for three hours a day to give them a double edge.
