Minoru Matsumoto

Minoru Matsumoto is a Japanese actor. He was born on August 18, 1960 in Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Matsumoto first got into the film industry by working as a production assistant on Ryuhei Kitamura’s 1997 film Down to Hell and later appearing in several of Kitamura’s films in the following years. Apparently a proponent of method acting, he was known to gag himself to the point of almost vomiting before scenes in the 2000 film Versus in order to convey the appropriate level of facial distress.
