Atsuko Maeda, a member of AKB48 at the time of filming, plays a second-year high school girl named Minami Kawashima who is appointed manager of her baseball team in place of her sick friend.
Unsure of how to handle her new responsiblity, she decides to find a baseball book to guide her. Instead, she picks up Peter Drucker’s business management-themed book “Management: tasks, responsibilities, practices” and implements its principles to get the lazy members of her team in line.
