Nobuyuki Tabata

Nobuyuki Tabata is a retired Japanese professional boxer of the welterweight and middleweight divisions and former middleweight champion. He was born on December 27, 1963 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Tabata was known for his extremely powerful punching power in both divisions he competed in. This earned him the nickname Japanese Hearns, a nod to the American boxer and legendary knockout artist Tommy “Hitman” Hearns.
