Romantic Prelude (2009)

Romantic Prelude is a Japanese movie directed by Naoto Kumazawa. It was released by J-Storm in Japan on May 30, 2009.

The film stars Junichi Okada (V6) as a photographer named Satoshi and Kumiko Aso as a flower shop employee named Nanao. Although the two have never met in person, they live in adjacent apartments, sharing a wall and often overhearing parts of each other’s daily routines.

Both are around 30 and single, each with their own sets of problems. As they deal with their respective issues, they wind up being drawn to one another by the things they overhear, forming a pseudo relationship before they’ve even met.
