Outrage (2010)

Outrage is a Japanese gangster movie directed by Takeshi Kitano. It was released in a collaboration between Office Kitano and Warner Bros. on June 12, 2010.

Kitano stars as a low-ranking yakuza crew leader named Otomo who gets caught up in the underhanded scheming of his superiors in the organization. Otomo is called upon whenever someone needs some dirty work done without wanting to take the blame. When he’s ordered to stir up trouble with the Murase gang to make boss Ikemoto (Jun Kunimura) look good with the dominant Sanno-kai syndicate, the result is an all-out gang war—complete with revenge killings, rampant greed, and opportunistic betrayal.
