Panta

Panta (パンタ) is a Japanese rock singer and songwriter. He was born on February 5, 1950 in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. He was a the front man for the bands “Panta and HAL” and “Zunou Keisatsu” (Brain Police).

Panta debuted in the 1970s during the rise of the radical student organization “Zenkyoto generation”. He’s made a name for himself and his bands over the years with controversial stage performances and a willingness to directly confront the controversial topics of the times.
