Piecing Me Back Together (2010)

Piecing Me Back Together is a Japanese movie directed by Itsumichi Isomura and based on a novel by Len Kawahara. It was released by Stardust Pictures in Japan on June 19, 2010.

The film stars Keiko Kitagawa as a young woman named Izumi who is involved in a tragic accident in which her boyfriend Junichi (Masaki Okada) dies. The accident and the events which followed remain so traumatizing to Izumi that she blocks the entire event from her memory. Overcome with sorrow and survivor’s guilt, she seizes the opportunity to piece her memories back together with the help of a lawyer named Makiko (Nene Otsuka).
