Sosuke Takaoka is a Japanese actor. He was born on February 7, 1982 in Tokyo.
Takaoka was formerly represented by Stardust Promotion, but was forced to resign in July 2011 over comments he made on Twitter complaining about the plethora of Korean dramas being shown on Fuji TV. His comments were seen by many as xenophobic and anti-Korean (article).
He married actress Aoi Miyazaki on June 15, 2007, after the couple had been dating for 7 years. They filed for divorce on December 28, 2011, with Takaoka later returning to Twitter to air his grievances.
