Tadanobu Asano

Tadanobu Asano is a Japanese actor. He was born on November 27, 1973, in Yokohama Prefecture. His father is a talent agent and got him a role in the TV drama “Kinpachi Sensei” at the age of 16. Since making his film debut in Swimming Upstream in 1990, Asano has established himself as one of Japan’s top film actors and has been involved in some of the most critically-acclaimed Japanese films of the past decade.

Asano also helps run Anore Inc. talent agency alongside his father. Their current talent lineup includes established names like Rinko Kikuchi, Ryo Kase, and Hirofumi Arai.
