The 19th Step

The 19th Step is an upcoming India-Japan co-produced martial arts film directed by Bharat Bala. The release date and production schedule is currently unknown.

The film promises to tell the story of one culture’s journey into another, tracing the origins of martial arts to a style of fighting practiced in southern India called Kalarippayattu. The cast is said to include international superstars Asin Thottumkal and Tadanobu Asano.
