Tsuyoshi Abe is an actor of mixed Chinese and Japanese descent. He was born on February 13, 1982 in Heilongjiang, China. He is fluent in both Mandarin and Japanese.

He was born Li Zhendong (李振冬) but it was changed to his current Japanese name when he moved to Japan at the age of 9.
