Unfair: The Answer (2011)

Unfair: The Answer is a Japanese movie written and directed by Shimako Sato. It follows up on the 2006 Unfair TV drama series and successful 2007 feature film. It was released by Toho in Japan on September 17, 2011.

In this sequel, Ryoko Shinohara returns as tough-as-nails detective Natsumi Yukihira. Having been pushed out of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department after exposing a vast web of corruption, she’s now working at a station way up north in Monbetsu, Hokkado.

When Yukihira is named the prime suspect in a serial murder case back in Tokyo, she decides to go on the run from police while doing whatever it takes to clear her own name.
