Yamazakura (2008)

Yamazakura is a Japanese movie directed by Tetsuo Shinohara and based on a short story by Shuhei Fujisawa. It was released by Tokyo Theatres, Co., Inc in Japan on May 31, 2008.

The film stars Lena Tanaka as a young woman who is reunited with a man who she could have chosen as a potential husband years earlier, but turned down because he already had a child. He asks if she’s happy and she tells him yes, but knows in her heart she made a mistake.
