Gachi Boy (ガチ☆ボーイ) is a 2008 movie about a genius college student with a brain injury that keeps him from retaining any new information for more than a day. Incapable of going through with his planned career in law he joins a wrestling school, thinking that if his bruises will act as a reminder of what he was doing the day before. The term “gachi” means to clash, and is short for “gachinko” (serious competition or challenge).
