Juzo Itami (伊丹十三 / ITAMI Juzo) was a Japanese actor, essayist, and illustrator who eventually became a popular satirical filmmaker. He was born on May 15, 1933 in Ukyo, Kyoto and reportedly committed suicide on December 20, 1997 by jumping of the roof of his office building.

Itami was married to actress Nobuko Miyamoto and their son is actor Mansaku Ikeuchi.
