Nonchan Noriben (のんちゃんのり弁) is a 2009 Japanese movie directed by Akira Ogata. Movie Eye and Kino Films will be releasing it in Japan on September 26, 2009.
In this live-action adaptation of a Kiwa Irie manga, Manami Konishi stars as a 31-year-old woman who leaves her cheating husband and moves back in with her parents with her daughter (Rio Sasaki). Feeling like a burden and unable to find steady work, she eventually begins training as a cook under a local pub owner (Ittoku Kishibe) after being inspired by his delicious miso-simmered mackerel dish.
