Rikiya (力也) is a Japanese actor and rock singer. He was born on July 19, 1947 in Tokyo and grew up in Gyoda, Saitama prefecture.
Up until 2001, he went by the name Rikiya Yasuoka (安岡力也 / YASUOKA Rikiya), but an impending divorce coupled with the fact that he felt Yasuoka was an unpleasant sounding name gave him enough reason to change it. There is also another actor named Rikiya, but he spells his name in all roman characters.
