Takeshi Kaneshiro (金城 武 / KANESHIRO Takeshi) is an actor and singer who is popular throughout all of Asia due to his mixed heritage and fluency in Japanese, English, and several Chinese dialects. He was born on October 11, 1973 in Taipei, Taiwan to an Okinawan father and Taiwanese mother. He used the stage name Aniki when he first debuted as a singer.

His name is Jincheng Wu in a Mandarin pinyin rominization of the same characters.
