The official website for Yukihiko Tsutsumi‘s 20th Century Boys trilogy has been updated with a new cut of the theatrical trailer for the final film in the series; the third version released thus far. The film will be released in Japan on August 29, 2009.
For previous trailers, see this link and this link. But be warned: all 3 trailers are rife with spoilers for those of you who haven’t yet seen both of the first two movies.

Wow- this looks spectacularly bad. I don’t want to judge the film too harshly based solely on the trailer but.. Ouch. The CGI is awkward, and it’s badly integrated to boot. I’m not sure what this film offers other than CGI, so if that sucks, I’m inclined to suspect that the film sucks as a whole. That said- I’ll probably watch it ;).

im lookin forward to seeing this, i saw the other two chapters and i cant help myself but compare with the manga version, still it was excellently captured far better than hollywood remakes!i dont mind the cgi whats important is how they portray the plot it in the screen, too bad manila cinemas dont buy it so i’ll probably drag my ass to the local black market and keep my eye on this one..
