Trailer - 28 1/2: Mōsō no Kyojin

Here’s the trailer for Mamoru Oshii’s 28 1/2: Mōsō no Kyojin. Although this film got a limited release in Japan over the summer, no trailer was available until the DVD was released a few months later.

The film is not actually an adaptation of the original “Tetsujin 28-go” story, but a dramatized documentary about the making of Oshii’s stage play version of the original work.

Actress Erika Okuda (Tokyo Zombie) stars as a photographer named Akiko who keeps seeing a young boy who reminds her of Shotaro, the protagonist of Tetsujin 28-go, as she covers the play’s production. Meanwhile, Oshii struggles to bring things together in rehearsals before suddenly vanishing.
