A remake of the 1998 Korean film which was a smash hit all throughout Asia, Christmas in August tells the story of a man who begins a romance with a woman but never gets a chance to follow through with it because he discovers he has a terminal illness. The rest of the film focuses on him trying to live what’s left of his life as normally as possible, spending time with his friends in family in his hometown.
