Plot: Blind masseurs Tokuichi (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) and Fukuichi (Ryo Kase) travel between seaside spas in the north and hot springs in the south, earning the respect of hotel owners and patrons alike. When Tokuchi meets a beautiful woman from Tokyo named Michiho (Maiko), he’s immediately smitten, but every time he wants to see her she seems to be spending her time with another guest who’s taken an interest in her (Shinichi Tsutsumi). Meanwhile, thefts begin occurring at neighboring hotels and Tokuichi can’t ignore his suspicions about who the culprit may be—no matter how much he may want to.
