Trailer - Gamera vs. Barugon (Gamera tai Barugon - Daikaijū Kettō)

Theatrical trailer for Shigeo Tanakas 1966 monster movie Gamera vs. Barugon, Daiei’s second film to feature the giant turtle Gamera and the first time he was shown in color.

Plot: As Gamera is being transported to Mars, a meteorite collides with the rocket he’s held in and frees him. Upon returning to Japan, Gamera destroys Kuroba Dam and continues on. Meanwhile, an expedition in New Guinea accidentally sets a giant ice-breathing monster called Barugon free. Barugon freezes everything in his path until he’s challenged by the fire-breathing Gamera. Unfortunately, Barugon gets the better of their first encounter and Gamera is left incapacitated. Now it’s up to one of the expedition members,  Keisuke Hirata (Kojiro Hongo), and a native of New Guinea named Karen (Kyoko Enami) to help put a stop to Barugon before Japan is completely frozen over.
