The official website for the new animated Yatterman movie has been updated with a new teaser trailer. According to Gigazine, the impossibly long title “Yatterman Shin-Yatter-Mecha Daishugo! Omocha no Kuni de Daiketsdan da Koron!” translates to something like “Yatterman: New Yatter Gadgets Assembled! Great Decision in the Toy Wonderland!”. Surprisingly, this will be the first anime feature of the franchise despite its popularity.

The film is being directed by Masakazu Hishida (Onmyou Taisenki) and will be released nationwide in Japan on August 22, 2009.
