Here’s the full trailer for Gokusen: The Movie, which holds a few surprises for fans of the original TV drama. According to Tokyograph, it was announced today that Shun Oguri, Yuma Ishigaki, Hiroki Narimiya from season one will show up in the movie to support their former teacher, Yankumi (Yukie Nakama). Season 2 will also be represented by Mocomichi Hayami, Teppei Koike, and Keisuke Koide. All six of their characters are said to have left their delinquent days behind them and have become respected members of society. It was well-timed announcement, because they actually made it into the trailer. This will apparently be Nakama’s last time playing the role, but it looks like she’ll be going out with a bang (har har).
Distributor Toho will be releasing Gokusen: The Movie in theaters on July 11, 2009.
