Atsushi Murakami (Kenta Kiritani) has an awful family life and is constantly picked on at school. One day he decides to end it all and attempts to hang himself in an abandoned warehouse, only to get interrupted by three middle-aged hoodlums. The trio take a shine to Atsushi and eventually become mentors to him. Through their occasionally ridiculous yet well-meaning guidance he’s able to learn self-confidence and completely changes his life around. Grow marks Hideo Sakaki‘s directorial debut.
