After being ousted from his village by his own jealous nephew Jo, master chef and martial arts expert Wong Bing-Yi (Sammo Hung) meets Shen Qing (Cherrie Ying) through her sister (Ai Kago) and decides to help out at her struggling restaurant “Four Seas”. It’s there that he’s introduced to a young cooking phenom Kin-Yat Lung (Vaness Wu). Lung learns techniques from his new master and eventually represents Four Seas at a cooking competition against the head chef from Jo’s restaurant “Imperial Palace”. Unfortunately the contest isn’t on the level, but the two kung fu chefs still have a trick or two up their sleeves to win back their glory and honor at Jo’s expense.
