Teaser - Nakumonka

Here’s the first teaser for Nakumonka, the second collaboration between Nobuo Mizuta and screenwriter Kankuro Kudo—the first being 2007’s Maiko Haaan!!!.

As Tokyograph reported back in February, the film stars Sadao Abe as a restaurant owner who was abandoned by his father at a young age. Eita plays his oblivious younger brother who’s now a famous comedian and Yuko Takeuchi plays the daughter of the previous restaurant owner: a former ugly duckling who Abe’s character is intent on marrying.

Toho will be releasing Nakumonka in Japan on November 14, 2009.
