Plot: When Saori’s (Mirai Shida) older brother is arrested for the brutal murder of two young children, police attempt to protect her family by changing their name and taking them out of contact with the rest of society for a while to insure they don’t commit suicide before the trial. As the media begin their relentless pursuit of Saori’s family, Detective Katsuura (Koichi Sato) is tasked with keeping her under the radar, and, if possible, get any information from her which could lead to an easy conviction. However, many in the public see the family as being just as responsible as the murderer himself, and will seemingly stop at nothing to find and harass them. Meanwhile, the situation brings certain aspects of Katsuura’s own life to the forefront.
