Trailer - Shiki-Jitsu

A filmmaker (Shunji Iwai) who returns to his hometown and meets a strange girl (Ayako Fujitani) who claims tomorrow is her birthday. He returns the next day with a gift, but she refuses it, repeating that tomorrow is her birthday. Over the next few weeks he gets to know this girl better, staying at her place in a rundown old factory while filming a documentary about her. It becomes clear that she’s very lonely and chooses to perpetually lives out the same day over and over again for some unknown reason.
