Here’s the trailer for the Japanese remake of Alexander Payne’s 2004 dramedy about two middle-aged men who decide to take a road trip through California’s wine country before one of them leaves his bachelor days behind. While there they become involved with two women they meet along the way and reflect on their lives.

The Japanese version is directed by Cellin Gluck and stars Fumiyo Kohinata, Katsuhisa Namase, Rinko Kikuchi, and Kyoka Suzuki. Release is slated for 2009.
