The official website for Hidekazu Matsuda’s The Negotiator: The Movie has been updated with a full trailer that features some of the actors that were announced as co-stars back at the end of November.
The movie is a theatrical continuation of TV Asahi’s highly-rated “Koshonin - The Negotiator” series, which entered its second season on October 22nd.
This time around, police negotiator Reiko Usagi (Ryoko Yonekura) boards a plane while tailing a particularly suspicious young man and, by chance, is a passenger when the plane is later hijacked. Usagi becomes involved in a tense mind game with the perpetrators 10,000 meters above the ground as she tries to figure out their goal as well as save the lives of everyone onboard.
“The Negotiator: The Movie” will be released by Toei in Japan on February 11, 2010.
