A successful businessman named Shuntaro Akagi begins working at The fish trading business run by the father of his girlfriend. The Tsukiji Fish Market is the largest supplier of fish in the world with it’s own set of rules and strict tradition that goes back generations. Shuntaro doesn’t quite fit in with the characters at his new job. But he eventually makes himself useful - not because of his business savvy, but for his keen sense of taste.
