Tomie, everyone’s favorite murderous boy-crazy manifestation of evil returns for an 8th installment in the series that refuses to end. When Kuzuki witnesses the murder of his girlfriend Naoko he’s left deeply traumatized. He seeks out psychological counseling to deal with his memories of the incident, which are extremely cloudy but haunt him nonetheless. With police unwilling to admit Naoko was murdered, he eventually resigns himself to moving on with life and gets a new job at a mannequin factory. While there he spots a girl named Tomie that oddly looks exactly like his dead girlfriend Naoko, but does his best to avoid her. Meanwhile, Tomie is preoccupied with another girl named Tomie, apparently her equally evil clone, who lives with one of their co-workers. The two rival Tomies clash, leaving carnage in their wake and forcing Kuzuki’s lost memories to the surface.
