A self-conscious magazine writer named Shinobu Terajima (Rei Hayakawa) meets a truck driver named Takatoshi (Nao Omori) at a convenience store and the two immediately hit it off. On a whim she decides to tag along with him for a while and the two develop a relationship during their travels. Initially guarded, the two are eventually able to share aspects of themselves with each other that leave them both more fulfilled than they were before they met - if only a little.
