Teaser - Villon’s Wife (Viyon no Tsuma)

Here’s the first teaser for Kichitaro Negishi’s adaptation of Osamu Dazai’s 1947 novel, Villon’s Wife. In the film, Takako Matsu stars as the wife of an abusive alcoholic writer (Tadanobu Asano), but through all she’s forced to put up with she refuses to let her spirit be broken.

Toho will be releasing “Villon’s Wife” in Japanese theaters on October 10, 2009.
