Trailer - When You Wish upon a Star (Hoshi no Furu Machi)

Full trailer for Koji Kawano’s upcoming film When You Wish upon a Star, a live-action adaptation of Hidenori Hara’s manga “Hoshi no Furu Machi”.

The film stars Aoi Nakamura as a teenager in Toyama Prefecture named Kotaro Tsutsumi who fails in his attempt to get into a prestigious Tokyo high school. Instead, he transfers to a school in Himishi where he eventually ends up finding love and sees his life improve in ways that make him realize his initial failure was actually a blessing in disguise.
